Monumental Achievement: Hossein Fateh is a pioneer in digital infrastructure with over two decades of experience developing and operating data centers. He is one of the original developers of the new wholesale asset class of data centers and serves as a veteran in the industry who continuously helps shape the field as new data needs evolve. A multifaceted entrepreneur, Fateh has founded numerous companies that span from data and investing to real estate and renewable energy.

Biography

Hossein Fateh is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cloud Capital and CloudHQ. Hossein has over 25 years of experience developing and operating data centers: he was one of the original developers of the asset class and has continued to help shape the industry internationally as data requirements evolve. Prior to Cloud Capital and CloudHQ, Hossein was the CEO and Co-Founder of DuPont Fabros Technology (“DFT”) which was sold in 2017 for $7.8bn. Cloud Capital and CloudHQ’s combined portfolio has contracted over 600 megawatts of IT load with hyperscale off takers.

Hossein also founded Dalian Development, a multifamily company with 1000 residential units in the US and 3000 in the pipeline. He also founded WindHQ, a renewable energy company with 164 megawatts of wind energy.

Hossein has a BA in Business Administration and a MSc in Finance, both from George Washington University. Hossein is passionate about philanthropy and giving back to the community. He sits on the following committees and boards: Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis (CREUA) at George Washington University, Executive Committee of the Steers Center for Global Real Estate at Georgetown University, the McDonough School of Business Board of Advisors at Georgetown University, Member of the Research Council at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) located in New York City, and building the Mroue Fateh Pain Management Centre at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London.
