Whether you are looking to engage fellow alumni, connect with students, or volunteer with Colonials in your community, we have an opportunity for you. Learn about the variety of ways that you can get involved and find rewarding activities that meet your interests, experience, and schedule.

Serve as a professional resource to current students through GW Career Connect
Represent GW at a college fair
Present a high school junior with the GW Book Award
Sit on an alumni panel to discuss your GW experience with prospective students
Assist with admitted student events
Assist with new student recruitment in the U.S. and internationally
Host Dinner with Alumni: Connect and share your GW experience with a group of students over dinner.
Host Coffee With Colonials: Connect and share your GW experience with a group of students over coffee.
Connect with Fellow Alumni
Lead a Regional Network in your area: Work on a committee to plan events in your region.
Become a Reunion Ambassador: Plan your undergraduate class reunion celebration.
Join a Multicultural or Affinity Committee: Work on a committee to plan events for your Multicultural or Affinity Alumni Network.
Join an Industry Leadership Council: Plan and advise industry network programming.
Host an in-person Career Programs workshop
Present on a professional development topic in a GWebinar
Serve as a professional resource to fellow alumni through GW Career Connect
I am interested in participating in “Done in a Day” one-time volunteer opportunities such as sitting on a panel or being a speaker at an event. (These typically take place in D.C.)
